"Kaleidoscope" derives from the Greek καλός (kalos), "beautiful" + είδος (eidos), "shape" + σκοπέω (scopeο), "to look at, to examine".

Day 28 - Foxglove
I've passed by this flower on the way to work over the past few weeks. I've been waiting for it to bloom in full before taking a photo. It seemed to be in its prime this morning so I grabbed a quick shot. I like the patterns within the bulbs.
Random fact: The name foxglove comes from an old English myth that foxes must have used the flowers to sheath their paws as they made their nocturnal raids into the poultry yards of rural folk. The association is natural for the foxgloves grew on the wooded hillside slopes that foxes chose for their dens.
Foxglove or Digitalis purpurea, I think?
