"Kaleidoscope" derives from the Greek καλός (kalos), "beautiful" + είδος (eidos), "shape" + σκοπέω (scopeο), "to look at, to examine".

Thanks. It is inside the tennis court in Westmount playground, near my house. It was a 'run across the street after work and grab a quick shot' kinda thing :-)
